About Palm Bay Bicycle:
The road to Palm Bay Bicycles started back in the streets of New Jersey where Owner/Mechanic Clyde Welsh competed in Cat 4 races throughout the Tri-State area. Training and racing through Prospect and Central parks with the area's best cyclist and industry leaders honed not only his skills on the bike, but also his contacts in the bike industry.
As a mechanic, he gained his experience working in the area shops, ultimately landing him a positions with Jamis Bicycles in New Jersey. It is there that he honed the business skills to allow him to finally open his own shop here in Florida in 2005 after a move to warmer climates.
Although Brevard County has it's share of bicycle shops, the Palm Bay and Southern Brevard areas were not as well serviced, so the idea to start the business in the City of Palm Bay was a conscious one that has been well received by the local community.
The quality of service and expertise has drawn customer's from all over the county, a testament to Clyde's attention to detail and personal touch. You will always see the same faces and get the same quality service, every time!
